Kibsons International | Cinema Sampling | 2023

Kibsons International recently booked a sampling activity at select cinema locations across Abu Dhabi between 19-21 May 2023.

 

The sampling activity was booked to coincide with the release of the action blockbuster, Fast X, which collected over US$3.3 million in its opening weekend in the UAE, and $319 million globally.

 

The sampling was Kibsons’ second cinema campaign of this year, following the successful integrated campaign in January.

The latest campaign entailed the distribution of branded boxes containing a selection of fresh fruits, snacks, and a discount voucher for patrons to collect at the entrance and exit of the cinema auditoriums at the respective locations.

MVM-VOX | Private Screening | Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3

Motivate Val Morgan, in partnership with VOX Cinemas recently hosted an exclusive private screening of Marvel Studios’ Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 at Mall of the Emirates.

 

The event, attended by over 150 agency and direct clients, offered attendees an immersive cinematic experience in the Dolby Atmos auditorium, and a specially curated ad showcase playlist and preshow.

Avinash Udeshi, COO of Motivate Val Morgan, opened the event with a speech, providing  valuable insights into the cinema industry’s resurgence since the pandemic. Ten lucky invitees discovered complimentary luxury movie passes concealed under their seats, while kids in attendance were presented with complimentary movie passes to watch a movie of their preference.

The latest menu has been specially tailored for the cinematic experience and will be available across all THEATRE locations in the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain and Kuwait

The new menu, curated by master chefs to elevate the in-cinema dining experience after extensive customer research and trial-based studies that focused on food variety and convenience, is now available at all THEATRE locations in the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, and Kuwait.

 

With more than 20 mouth-watering dishes on offer, including vegetarian and vegan options, the contemporary menu features a range of mouth-watering dishes, such as Dynamite Shrimps; freshly picked Falafel Salad; oven-baked Roasted Fig & Goat’s Cheese Flat Bread; irresistible Pepper Beef Skewers; vegetarian-friendly Impossible Meat Sliders; and chicken-stuffed Theatre Tacos, along with a variety of handcrafted desserts and a bubbling selection of signature mocktails.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia celebrated Saudi Founding Day on 22nd February, with Saudi nationals and residents joining in on the celebration. National holidays are highly celebrated by Saudis as they look forward to such days during the year, and Saudi Founding Day is no exception.

 

Cinemas were abuzz with moviegoers eager to watch the latest blockbusters, and renowned KSA brands took advantage of this unique opportunity by securing on screen adverting in a bid to establish connections with captive cinema audiences on the big screen.

Sylndr | Off Screen Cinema Campaign | Egypt

Sylndr, an automotive-focused e-commerce marketplace in Egypt, recently booked a promotional campaign for its website at VOX Cinemas – Mall of Egypt and City Centre Almaza from 26 January to 13 February 2023.

 

The campaign involved an off-screen cinema advertising where a kiosk with a promoter was set up in the foyer area of the cinemas at Mall of Egypt and City Centre Almaza.

 

The promoter engaged with cinemagoers by explaining the platform and inviting them to participate in a ‘spin-the-wheel’ contest, with the chance to win a car or other exciting prizes. This interactive experience allowed patrons to learn about the sylndr.com.

Kibsons | Integrated Cinema Campaign | UAE | 2023

Kibsons booked an integrated cinema campaign with Motivate Val Morgan at VOX, Royal and Oscar cinemas in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

 

The on screen component included four 30 sec. ads following Asian Mega Blockbuster Pathaan at VOX Cinemas – Yas Mall,Royal Cinemas – Khalidiyah Mall and Oscar Cinema – Wahda Mall

For the off screen advertising component, Kibsons booked a sampling activity over the weekend of 28th to 29th January at VOX Cinemas – Yas Mall and Royal Cinemas – Khalidiyah Mall. A box filled with fresh fruits was distributed to moviegoers at the entrance of the screens at both cinema locations.

Dubai Safari Park | Off Screen Cinema Campaign | UAE

Dubai Municipality booked an off-screen cinema campaign to promote the eco-friendly Dubai Safari Park  starting 10 November 2022.

 

The Branded popcorn tubs were distributed to moviegoers at VOX Cinemas – Mall of the Emirates, City Center Mirdif, City Center Al Zahia, and City Center Deira.

Dubai Safari Park also took over the digital screens at VOX Mall of the Emirates – the hero screen above the candy bar and the large screen at the entrance to the IMAX auditorium.
