Parkville Returns with an Integrated Cinema Campaign in Egypt

Parkville Pharmaceuticals made a triumphant return to the cinema scene, launching yet another integrated campaign to showcase their brands – SHAAN and GLAMYLAB.


The off-screen SHAAN campaign featured sampling activities in the foyer areas of City Centre Almaza and Mall of Egypt during the weekends of August 17-19 and August 24-26, 2023, respectively. In parallel, the off-screen GLAMYLAB campaign incorporated sampling in the foyer area of City Centre Almaza for an extended period of six weekends, commencing from August 17, 2023. Notably, Parkville has also secured a future GLAMYLAB campaign scheduled to commence in the final week of December 2023.

A 15 sec. on screen ad was also booked to play alongside the latest blockbusters at City Centre Almaza, Egypt from 16 August – 19 September 2023.

Sylndr, an automotive-focused e-commerce marketplace in Egypt, recently booked a promotional campaign for its website at VOX Cinemas – Mall of Egypt and City Centre Almaza from 26 January to 13 February 2023.


The campaign involved an off-screen cinema advertising where a kiosk with a promoter was set up in the foyer area of the cinemas at Mall of Egypt and City Centre Almaza.


The promoter engaged with cinemagoers by explaining the platform and inviting them to participate in a ‘spin-the-wheel’ contest, with the chance to win a car or other exciting prizes. This interactive experience allowed patrons to learn about the

Parkville Pharmaceuticals booked an integrated cinema campaign with Motivate Val Morgan at VOX Cinemas – City Centre Almaza and Mall of Egypt.

The on screen component included a 30 sec. ad following the blockbuster  Avatar: The Way of Water at both locations, while the off screen component included an activation kiosk in the foyer area of City Centre Almaza from 20 December 2022 to 19 January 2023, and a sampling activity over the weekend 22 to 24 December 2022 at Mall of Egypt and City Centre Almaza.

Chevrolet – American automotive manufacturer, booked a Car Display with Motivate Val Morgan – through Benchmark, at VOX Cinemas – Mall of Egypt.

The car display featured the all-new Chevrolet Malibu 2020, and was positioned in the foyer area of the cinema from 25th November 2019 – 1st December 2019.

Nestlé Pure Life – popular brand of bottled water, recently booked a cinema campaign through Motivate Val Morgan, at VOX CinemasMall of Egypt.

Booked through Zenith Media, the cinema campaign featured an on-screen commercial and included a sampling activity inside the Kids cinema at VOX Cinemas – Mall of Egypt.


On-screen Advertisement:

A 30 sec. on-screen commercial was booked to screen from 3rd April until  7th May 2019.  The advertisement informed children to look inside the water bottle (placed in the cup holder), for a message pertaining to hydration and the importance of water.

Sampling Activity:

A sampling activity was scheduled to be executed in 4 bursts over 4 weekends during the month of April.

1st Burst: 04th  –  06th April 2019

2nd Burst: 11th  – 13th April 2019

3rd Burst: 18th  – 20th  April 2019

4th Burst: 25th  – 30th April 2019*

*The activity scheduled for this weekend will be executed for 3 additional days.


Nestlé Pure Life bottles with a special packaging label – featuring images of animals such as Gorillas’ Leopards, Lions, Penguins, Parrots and Frogs, were placed in the cup holder of each seat, while some of the bottles were placed below select seats.

As the trailers commenced, the on-screen ad also displayed a message asking the audience to look under the seats for another bottle. The kids who found these bottles received a discount voucher from Toys’R’Us .

As part of the sampling activity, usherers were hired to distribute flyers to cinemagoers entering the Kids cinema.
